HR Admin Support – Double Promotion

by | Blog

We are continuing to see clients, existing and new, utilise us to provide outsourced HR admin services.  As this service continues to grow and develop, we have made some changes to how we structure and manage this team.

As such, we are delighted to confirm that Lynn Paul and Calum Anderson will manage the team members within our Admin Support team and we are delighted to confirm their promotion to Senior HR Consultant.

This move allows us to enhance the service offering and up-skill our team, ensuring they work collaboratively and can support across various clients.

This is an exciting move as we look to streamline and automate some of our internal processes, whilst ensuring we deliver the best service to our clients that require outsourced HR admin services.

Calum Anderson said, “Being welcomed back into The HR Booth team has been amazing and the things the team have accomplished have been incredible to watch whilst I’ve been away. We’re going from strength to strength, and I’m delighted that Lynn and I have been trusted to play our part of shaping our Support Services function towards our business strategy.”

Lynn Paul said, “I’m really excited to be on this journey of growth with The HR Booth, building and developing a support function within the business alongside Calum will only enhance the overall service provided to clients, as well as support internal development and efficiency.’

Alistair Booth, Director commented “We have seen a lot of demand for outsourced HR administration support, from our existing client base, as well as other businesses that are looking to outsource non-core activities and free up valuable resource.

To enable us to meet this demand, I’m delighted at the changes we have made internally to better support and develop our Admin Support Team.  The majority of the administration clients sit with the clients that Lynn and Calum manage from an HR perspective, and with their previous experience of managing HR admin teams, we feel this is a positive move to support the needs of the team and our clients.

I have been impressed with the leadership traits both have shown and their willingness to help make improvements to this service offering.  I am delighted that both of them have accepted the role of Senior HR Consultant and I am excited to see how they develop this team in the coming weeks and months.”

Some of the HR admin services we offer include:-

We can also automate this to have line managers complete first part of the induction, or record this for new starts to view. Capture access to work documents along with any training certificates, qualifications, driving licence etc.

Recruitment: Posting job adverts, arranging interviews, corresponding with clients. There could be additional costs if advertising on premium job boards.

HR Inbox: Deal with queries from your employees.

Reports: Provide monthly reports on data such as right to work checks, training, staff turnover and absence. Provide data on objectives/1-1s completed/outstanding.

Absence: Log absence records on the system or train managers on how to do this – whatever process you prefer.

Training: Arrange training courses where required.

Job Changes: Ensure any job changes, salary etc is communicated in writing and added to the relevant systems.

Offboarding: Ensure all leavers are processed accordingly, letters confirming final date of employment, payroll notified of final payments and exit interviews arranged. We can complete exit interviews and share data if this is something you want us to do.

I’m sure you will wish Lynn and Calum every success following their promotions!
